Role Description

The Service Engineer role is a contract, on-site position based in Metro Cebu. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting system issues, and conducting maintenance and repair on a variety of air conditioning units and systems. Day-to-day activities include responding to service calls, conducting field inspections, installing or commissioning equipment, and providing technical support to customers and internal teams. The Service Engineer documents service activities, prepares reports, and ensures compliance with safety standards and company procedures. Collaboration with sales and operations teams to address customer concerns and optimize system performance is also part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for air conditioning systems, including the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.


• Hands-on field service experience, preferably in HVAC or related technical environments, with familiarity in on-site customer support.


• Technical support capabilities, including guiding users, interpreting technical manuals, and using tools and instruments for system evaluation.


• Proficiency in maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical components, ensuring reliable operation and adherence to safety standards.


• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and vendors, including clear reporting and documentation.


• Relevant technical education or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or related fields.


• Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple service requests, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


• Willingness to travel within Metro Cebu and nearby areas as needed; valid driver’s license is an advantage.


• Knowledge of HVAC systems, safety regulations, and basic computer skills for service reporting is beneficial.
