Job summary

VIVO in the Philippines is seeking a Service Engineer (SE) to join our after-sales team in Calamba, Laguna. The role focuses on mobile phone repair and service quality.

Responsibilities include device inspection, troubleshooting, recording service orders, maintaining records, and upholding 6S standards while delivering excellent customer service. Fresh graduates are welcome; PRC license holders (Electronics Technician/Engineer) are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electronics/Telecommunications/Information Technology preferred.
• Basic knowledge of smartphone hardware and software.
• Proficient with common office apps and service order systems.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience in mobile phone or electronics repair preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong potential welcome.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Mobile Phone Repair

• Conduct device inspection, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair.

• Ensure all repairs comply with vivo’s quality and service standards.

System Operation

• Accurately and promptly record and update service orders in the system.

• Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable service records.

Customer Service

• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the repair process.

• Provide courteous, patient, and professional assistance to address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

Workplace and Environment Maintenance

• Comply with the company’s 6S standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace and service center environment.

Training and Meetings

• Participate actively in technical training sessions and meetings organized by vivo headquarters.

• Continuously improve technical knowledge, professional skills, and service performance.

Other Duties

• Perform other after-sales service-related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

• Cooperate effectively with team members and support overall service operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Vocational diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of smartphone hardware and software.

• Proficient in using common office applications and service order systems.

• Strong customer service orientation with good communication skills.

• Ability to patiently and professionally address customer concerns.

• Previous experience in mobile phone or electronic product repair is preferred.
