Job summary

Shangri-La Business Solutions and Services Inc., part of the Shangri-La Group, is hiring a Service Associate – Finance (General Accounting) in the Philippines. The role supports timely and accurate financial reporting across the group’s properties.

You will assist in balance sheet analysis, monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, taxes to BIR, and collaboration with other departments on P&L analysis.

Qualifications

• Interest in finance and accounting functions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• CPA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for assisting the Service Leader – Finance in the timely and accurate preparation of Financial Reports
• Assist in preparation of Balance Sheet Schedules Analysis and Reconciliation
• Prepares Daily and Month End Journals
• Assist in preparing monthly Financial Statements and Year End Audited Financial Statements
• Assist in preparing Budget Schedules
• Performs bank reconciliation.
• Assist other departments in the preparation of their P&L Analysis
• Responsible in preparation of taxes and timely submission to BIR
• Prepares Special reports.
• Performs other accounting duties.
