Job summary

Atain in the Philippines is seeking an experienced L2 Infrastructure & Endpoint Management Engineer to own BCM and MECM/SCCM environments, drive OS deployment, patching, software distribution, and automation across large-scale endpoints.

You will troubleshoot, implement automation scripts (PowerShell, batch, shell), coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance and incident resolution with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise endpoint management.
• Strong knowledge of BMC Client Management (BCM) architecture and administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) administration and OS deployment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize BCM infrastructure (Master/Relay/Agent).
• Manage MECM/SCCM site servers, distribution points, and software updates.
• Lead incident resolution and RCA for platform issues; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, batch, shell) to streamline deployments and patching.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced L2 Infrastructure & Endpoint Management Engineer with expertise in BMC Client Management (BCM), BMC TrueSight Server Automation and Microsoft SCCM/MECM. The candidate will be responsible for enterprise endpoint management, OS deployment, patch management, software distribution, server automation, compliance management and incident resolution. The role requires strong troubleshooting, automation, and operational management skills in large-scale enterprise environments.

BMC Client Management (BCM)

Administer and manage BMC Client Management infrastructure. Configure and maintain BCM Master, Relay, and Agent architecture. Manage software packaging and deployment. Perform OS deployment and imaging activities. Configure inventory collection and asset management. Troubleshoot agent communication and deployment issues. Manage compliance and vulnerability remediation activities. Create and maintain deployment policies and schedules. Generate operational and compliance reports.

Microsoft SCCM / MECM Administration

Manage Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) infrastructure. Administer Site Servers, Distribution Points, Management Points, and Software Update Points. Deploy operating systems using OSD Task Sequences. Manage software deployment and application lifecycle. Configure and maintain Software Update Management. Manage Windows patch deployment and reporting. Configure compliance settings and baselines. Troubleshoot client health and content distribution issues. Perform SCCM infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. Support co-management with Microsoft Intune.

Incident & Problem Management

Act as L2 escalation point for platform-related incidents. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Lead troubleshooting during critical outages. Coordinate with vendors for product-related issues. Participate in Change Management and CAB reviews. Ensure SLA compliance and operational excellence.

Automation & Scripting

Develop automation scripts using:

• PowerShell
• Batch Scripting
• Shell Scripting
• Software deployment
• Patching activities
• Reporting
• System maintenance tasks

Manage enterprise-wide patching for Windows servers and workstations. Monitor patch compliance and remediation activities. Conduct vulnerability assessment remediation. Ensure timely deployment of security updates and hotfixes. Manage third-party software updates and deployments. Perform health checks on managed endpoints.
