Job summary

Private Advertiser in Cebu City seeks an On-Page and Technical SEO specialist to boost organic visibility across ecommerce assets. You will craft SEO copy, optimise meta data, and coordinate with the Trading Assistant to keep product pages accurate and aligned with brand voice.

You’ll own redirects, schema, and international SEO setups (UK/US/Ireland), monitor Google Search Console metrics, and report weekly on clicks, CTR, and rankings, while ensuring quality edits to AI-generated content.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on SEO implementation, ecommerce preferred.
• Confident in Shopify admin: collections, products, URL redirects, meta fields.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Search Console.
• Excellent written English in UK tone of voice.
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills (lookups, pivots).
• Highly organised, can work independently from a prioritised list.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role has one primary accountability: organic visibility. You are the person who makes sure our collections, products and seasonal pages are found, ranked and clicked in Google — and cited by AI search tools.

On-Page SEO & Content

• Write and update SEO copy for collection pages: intros, buying guidance, comparison copy (e.g. by price band or what's in each set) and FAQs.
• Write and optimise meta titles and descriptions, prioritising pages with high impressions but low click-through rates.
• Own product page enrichment: clear personalisation steps, washing and care details and delivery turnaround times. The Trading Assistant keeps these details accurate when ranges change.
• Provide SEO copy, meta and internal linking for new priority landing pages built by the Trading Assistant.
• Edit and quality-check AI-generated content (including Sprite) against our tone of voice before it is published. Nothing goes live unedited.
• Set the SEO standards the wider team follows (URL format, page titles, alt text, image sizes).

Technical SEO

• Own the master redirect map, including old site URLs from the Magento migration; check, test and fix 301 redirects and redirect chains. Review the day-to-day redirects logged by the Trading Assistant.
• Monitor Google Search Console for indexing issues, crawl errors and 404s, and action or elevate them.
• Implement and check structured data (product, review, FAQ and breadcrumb schema).
• Own the international SEO set-up across the UK, US and Ireland sites, including hreflang.
• Implement the SEO agency's technical recommendations and report back on progress.

Seasonal SEO

• Own the seasonal URL plan: evergreen pages for Christmas, Black Friday, Mother's Day, Easter and other key events, so they keep their rankings year to year.
• Provide SEO copy and links for seasonal pages ahead of peak; confirm with the Trading Assistant which pages, if any, are permanently retired after each season.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track weekly clicks, positions and CTR for priority collections and report changes to the Trading Manager.
• Log every SEO change in the shared content change log so results can be measured.
• Monitor competitor collections and product pages for SEO and content opportunities, sharing them with the Trading Executive.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 2 years of hands‑on SEO implementation experience, ideally on an ecommerce or retail website.
• Confident in Shopify admin: collections, products, navigation, URL redirects and meta fields.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• Excellent written English, with the ability to write natural UK-English copy in a brand’s tone of voice.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (lookups, filters, pivot tables).
• Highly organised, accurate and able to work through a prioritised task list independently.
• Desirable: Screaming Frog or Sitebulb; Ahrefs or Semrush; structured data, hreflang and Shopify Liquid basics; migration recovery experience; awareness of AI search visibility.
