Job summary

Symbos is seeking an experienced SEO & Website Specialist to own the client’s SEO channel and manage ongoing website updates across eCommerce platforms. Reporting to the Digital Director, you will execute an established SEO strategy, analyse performance, and collaborate with product marketing, content, and CRM teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on CMS updates and a solid understanding of how websites work, with Magento environment training provided.

Qualifications

Strong SEO experience, including keyword research, on-page optimization and technical SEO.
Experience with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
Confident using SEMrush for insights and prioritisation.
Ability to analyse SEO performance and translate findings into actions.
Hands-on CMS/website updates across eCommerce sites.
Understanding of website architecture and factors affecting search performance.
Strong organisation, prioritisation and reporting skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a lean team.

Responsibilities

Execute and manage the SEO roadmap in line with the established strategy.
Conduct keyword research and optimise metadata, product pages and website content.
Use SEMrush to identify opportunities, monitor performance and guide priorities.
Analyse SEO performance and provide clear insights and recommendations.
Support technical SEO improvements, including internal linking, image optimisation and website performance.
Update products, descriptions, images, landing pages and other content through the CMS.
Work with product marketing on product naming, keyword selection and content optimisation.
Prioritise tasks independently and report on progress, results and next steps.
