Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Engineer - Wastewater for our Philippine office in Manila. The role emphasizes collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and creative thinking in delivering wastewater modelling projects.

You will work with a team focused on addressing flooding, CSO reductions, and network resilience while complying with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates have strong modelling skills and experience across concept to detailed design stages.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in water resources or civil engineering.
• Expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater projects.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM and GIS.
• Working towards ICE or CIWEM membership.
• Experience in model quality assurance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects and manage tasks of various scales.
• Review models, verify sewer networks, oversee survey specifications and management, develop strategic solutions to mitigate flooding and reduce CSO spills.
• Provide support to designers at concept outline and detailed design stages.
• Resolve technical modelling challenges and contribute to advancing the team’s technical expertise.
• Ensure project components comply with relevant standards and project requirements.
