Job summary

eClerx Philippines is seeking a Senior US Payroll Specialist to support a major US healthcare client. The role centers on US payroll processing with Workday Payroll or UKG/Kronos, with hybrid training and provincial accommodation provided for hires; long-term production is work-from-home.

You will handle end-to-end US payroll, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Benefits. Requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years of experience; CPP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of end-to-end US payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Workday Payroll or UKG/Kronos.
• Knowledge of multi-state US payroll and W-2 processing.
• Attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end US payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Administer payroll using Workday Payroll or UKG/Kronos.
• Review and validate payroll transactions, earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local US payroll regulations.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end activities including W-2 processing.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Benefits, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train on additional payroll platforms and client-specific processes during the transition period.

What You'll Do

• Process end-to-end US payroll accurately and on schedule.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of end-to-end US Payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• Multi‑state US Payroll
• Payroll tax regulations
• W‑2 processing
• Payroll reconciliations
• Time and attendance integration
• Workday Payroll (Highly Preferred), or
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to payroll accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with both Workday Payroll and UKG/Kronos.
• Healthcare industry payroll experience.
• Experience supporting large employee populations across multiple states.
• Knowledge of payroll compliance and audit processes.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification or equivalent.
