GREAT SIERRA DEVELOPMENT CORP. is seeking a Transport Manager to oversee and optimise our transport and logistics operations in the Philippines.

You will manage the fleet, coordinate delivery schedules, and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient movement of goods. The role requires 5+ years in transport management or logistics coordination, strong knowledge of regulations, budgeting experience, and proficiency with transport management software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transport management or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management, and supply chain operations.
• Experience managing budgets, cost control, and efficiency improvements.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in transport management software and fleet tracking systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transport schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Oversee fleet management, including vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and vehicle tracking systems.
• Monitor driver performance, conduct training, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage transport budgets, analyse costs, and implement efficiency strategies.
• Liaise with customers, warehouse staff, and logistics partners to coordinate shipments and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, including vehicle roadworthiness and driver documentation.
• Implement and maintain transport policies to optimise safety and performance.
• Analyse routes to reduce delivery times and fuel consumption.
• Prepare reports on transport operations, KPIs, and cost savings initiatives.
• Maintain transport documentation, including invoices and compliance records.
