Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions in Manila seeks a Senior Trading Applications Engineer to support and enhance OMS, EMS, portfolio management, market data, and post-trade systems in a fast-paced financial environment.

You will troubleshoot trade flows, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with traders, operations, and vendors to improve reliability. A strong SQL background and programming experience (C#/VB.NET/Java/Python) are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting trading systems in capital markets.
• Strong experience with OMS, EMS, portfolio management, market data, or post-trade systems.
• Advanced SQL skills and data analysis.
• Experience reviewing and troubleshooting code in C#, VB.NET, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end trading lifecycle across front-, middle-, and back-office.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, FX, and derivatives.
• Experience supporting FIX connectivity and electronic trading workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support for trading, OMS, EMS, portfolio management, market data, and post-trade platforms.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across the full trade lifecycle, from order creation and execution through settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Perform root cause analysis for trade breaks, allocation failures, booking issues, reconciliation discrepancies, and data quality concerns.
• Troubleshoot applications, APIs, FIX connectivity, databases, middleware, market data feeds, and vendor integrations.
• Use SQL to investigate incidents, validate data, perform reconciliations, and support operational reporting.
• Monitor and support integrations involving APIs, messaging platforms, batch processes, and real-time data feeds.
• Partner with market data providers and vendors to resolve technical and data-related issues.
• Review application code to understand business logic, diagnose defects, and support enhancements.
• Develop automation, monitoring, and operational tooling to improve platform stability and support effectiveness.
• Support software releases, regression testing, deployment validation, and platform improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, support, and business teams to resolve high-priority incidents.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical and production-related issues.
