Job summary

Accenture in Manila is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Settlements Associate to support end-to-end settlement processes across front, middle, and external counterparties. You will ensure accurate matching, timely resolution of discrepancies, and proactive communication with trading desks.

Responsibilities include pre-matching, investigation of breaks, inventory management, and escalation within defined service levels, with APAC hours and occasional Indian market holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in trade settlements or trade support.
• Strong attention to detail and a control-oriented approach to exceptions.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict settlement deadlines.
• Clear communication with trading desks and external counterparties.
• Proficient in Excel for trade tracking and reporting.
• Willingness to work non-standard APAC hours including Indian market holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-matching and match internal trades against market trades.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched trades and settlement breaks.
• Manage inventory: position monitoring and reconciliations.
• Capture and process trade lifecycle events and support claims investigations.
• Escalate and report failed trades and operational risks to stakeholders.
• Serve as primary operational contact for Front Office, Middle Office, and counterparties within SLAs.
