Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer I-Test Hardware in the Philippines. You will own complex test-hardware architecture, circuit and board design, instrumentation, interfaces, fixtures, integration, validation, and lifecycle support.

5–7.5 years of relevant experience is preferred. You will coordinate with design, product, test, manufacturing, quality, reliability, software, supplier, and operations teams to deliver robust hardware solutions and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7.5 years of relevant experience in test-hardware architecture, circuit and board design, instrumentation, interfaces, fixtures, integration, validation, qualification, debugging, and lifecycle support.
• Proven ability to coordinate with design, product, test, manufacturing, quality, reliability, software, supplier, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and release reliable test hardware for wafer probe and final test operations.
• Plan and manage hardware development projects with cross-functional resources and schedules.
• Lead test hardware activities from schematic design to release to engineering stakeholders per TSF processes.
• Develop semiconductor ATE test hardware, including tester resources and wafer/probe setups to support qualification and production.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate design requirements and status to global stakeholders.
• Use Altium Designer to capture schematics, apply PCB rules, and prepare design packages for CAD submission.
