Job summary

ams Asia Inc. in Laguna is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the CSA division and drive test hardware qualification during device ramp-up.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure producibility while optimizing hardware for handlers and probers. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering, 3+ years in semiconductors, and hands-on experience with Cohu EX/MX, DMX, Teradyne, plus Python/Perl/C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience and knowledge in semiconductor technology.
• Experience with tester platforms (Cohu EX/MX, DMX and Teradyne).
• Programming skills in Python, Perl or C++.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and release additional test hardware and test cells during device ramp-up.
• Review qualification data and release production test programs with new software releases.
• Analyze test program problems and propose permanent solutions; liaise with software and hardware vendors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize hardware for handlers and probers.
• Maintain test programs for legacy devices reaching Mass Production.
• Help resolve recurring NOGOs in production.
