Job summary

Coforge Philippines is seeking an Automation Test Engineer (with Java) to join our test automation and global development team. You will design, implement, and run comprehensive test plans and automate end-to-end tests across API and UI layers, collaborating with product, development, and QA teams.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years in software testing and automation, strong Java skills, and experience with Selenium or Robot Framework, plus SQL and REST API testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong background in functional testing for enterprise platforms, with Robot Framework preferred.
• Ability to design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Potential contribution to CI framework for the automation suite.
• Build automation frameworks for API, UI, and other testing types.
