Job summary

Hunt St seeks a Philippines-based Tender Manager to own estimating, tendering and value management end to end for premium residential projects in Australia. This is a fully remote, independent-contractor role, reporting to the Director and Sydney Manager.

You will manage documentation, RFIs, and ensure timely client proposals. Bring strong English skills, PlanSwift/Excel proficiency, and a commercial mindset to coordinate across design, estimating, and admin functions while working remotely with

Qualifications

Extensive estimating, tendering or pre-construction management in residential construction.
Experience with high-end, architectural residential projects is essential.
Ability to read plans and specifications and identify missing information via RFIs.
Proficient with PlanSwift and Excel as core estimating tools.
Proficient using AI tools, particularly Claude, for tender reviews and proposals.
Experience compiling formal client proposals with inclusions and scope clarifications.

Responsibilities

Documentation & tender readiness: set up job folders and track receipt of docs.
Pre-tender coordination: chair pre-tender meetings and manage schedules.
Estimating & proposal: produce take-offs, price jobs, and build client proposals.
Post-tender changes & value management: log changes and update proposals.
Contract: escalate to Office Manager once in-principle agreement is reached.
