Job summary

Hunt St, Pty is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to own estimating outputs for bespoke builds and major renovations in Australia, while based in the Philippines. The role is remote and engaged as an independent contractor, collaborating with Sydney-based teams and external consultants to price accurately and support early-stage decisions.

You will manage detailed take-offs, build estimates, prepare tender packages, review subcontractor quotes, and maintain cost

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience on high-end residential and/or commercial projects.
Proficient with Cubit and able to work from detailed consultant sets.
Excellent written communication and strong commercial judgement.
Comfortable collaborating remotely with an AU-based team.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and services docs.
Build and maintain trade-based estimates (labour, materials, plant) per templates.
Prepare RFQ packages, scope sheets, and tender queries to subcontractors.
Review quotes, identify gaps, and provide comparisons and recommendations.
Produce internal reports including cost plans, estimates, allowances and risks.
