Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a senior network engineer to lead the design, deployment and maintenance of the property's data network and telecoms infrastructure.

You will mentor IT technicians, coordinate with vendors and system integrators, run POC tests, and ensure high availability through effective change management.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on data network experience, CCNA or equivalent, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business or equivalent years of experience.
• CCNA and Voice Certification is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting a large complex data network.
• Knowledge of operating systems and infrastructure technology.
• Telecoms technologies including enterprise VOIP, PABX, routing, switching and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of network engineers providing mission-critical technical support.
• Identify technologies to support the technology road map.
• Interact with vendors for project services and technology updates.
• Provide mentoring to IT technicians and Telecoms staff.
• Collaborate on design of Telecoms Infrastructure for new projects and enhancements.
• Lead POC activities and design/performance assessments for customer projects.
• Perform service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
• Escalate incidents to vendor for resolution and manage change control.
