Optum Philippines seeks an experienced Senior Network Consultant (Technical Lead) to design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise network services across global and hybrid environments.

The role combines deep expertise in Enterprise Networking, Routing & Switching, Network Security, Next‑Generation Firewalls (NGFW), and Cloud Connectivity with leadership responsibilities, mentoring engineers, and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise Network Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Network Consulting.
• Proven experience leading technical teams, infrastructure projects, and operational initiatives.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise networking environments.
• Proven solid expertise in Enterprise Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN Technologies, Network Security, NGFW, IPSec/SSL VPN, Data Center Networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for network operations, engineering initiatives, and strategic infrastructure projects.
• Mentor, coach, and support the technical development of network engineers.
• Coordinate and prioritize engineering activities to meet operational and project objectives.
• Review technical designs and change requests for compliance with standards and best practices.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex incidents, outages, and problem management.
• Collaborate with management on resource planning, prioritization, and service delivery.
• Lead network lifecycle management activities including upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
