Job summary

Outsourced.ph is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to guide complex accounting matters, ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance, and support financial reporting. The role partners with Finance, Tax, Legal, and other stakeholders to assess transactions, implement standards, and ensure consistent policy application across the organization.

The position is based in Metro Manila with a dayshift, hybrid work setup (onsite twice weekly) and equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Typically 8-12 years of relevant accounting/financial reporting experience, including significant experience in technical accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex and non-routine transactions.
• Research IFRS/US GAAP and applicable local GAAP requirements; prepare position papers and memos.
• Evaluate accounting implications of acquisitions, disposals, business combinations, investments, financing, leases, revenue contracts, and other complex transactions.
• Monitor emerging accounting issues and assess their impact on the organization.
• Support the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Lead implementation projects for new accounting standards and develop policies and training materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors; act as the accounting contact for auditors and senior leadership.
