Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer to design, deploy and optimize enterprise voice services across global locations. The role centers on Teams External Calling, Direct Routing, SBC management and seamless PSTN connectivity within a secure, scalable voice infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in unified communications or voice engineering.
• Eight or more years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, Teams Phone or Direct Routing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience managing enterprise SBCs and SIP carrier connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support Microsoft Teams External Calling and Teams Phone solutions.
• Configure voice routing, dial plans and calling policies in Teams.
• Enable PSTN connectivity via Direct Routing and migrate from traditional PBX.
• Deploy, administer and maintain SBC infrastructure and manage SIP trunks.
• Coordinate with carriers and stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and document procedures.
