Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a fast-growing multinational leisure and digital entertainment group in Manila to find a Senior Team Manager - Controllership. Based in Parañaque, you will lead journal prep, GL management and reporting for global operations in a hybrid setup.

You will collaborate with multinational stakeholders, drive end-to-end financial statement preparation, and oversee audits, controls, and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications

• CPA qualification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting, finance, or audit experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Big 4 audit background or ACA/ACCA qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead journal preparation, review, posting, and approval processes.
• Oversee general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and trial balance reviews.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and accounting records.
• Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage internal and external audit requirements and stakeholder communications.
• Monitor team performance, KPIs, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to support consolidation and reporting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
