Job summary

Datacom Philippines is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to drive accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. You will mentor a high‑performing team, oversee reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month‑end close while addressing complex variances and ensuring compliance with best practices.

You will collaborate across functions to enable informed business decisions and support audit preparations.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification is a MUST.
• Experience leading a high performing accounting team.
• Experience influencing stakeholders in challenging situations.
• Experience implementing a new accounting system or evolving an existing one.

Responsibilities

• Record‑2‑Report activities.
• Lead and manage the accounting team to deliver timely, accurate services.
• Prepare and review financial documents, reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with Accounting on financial planning, analysis and reporting.
• Support preparation of accounting records and reports per Datacom standards.
• Perform month‑end close activities and maintain ledgers.
• Assist with annual audit preparations.
• Resolve audit findings, discrepancies and non‑compliance issues.

Lead a talented accounting team to deliver accurate, timely monitoring, preparation, and analysis of financial information and documentation for our accounting service. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on accounting, overseeing reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and month‑end close while resolving complex queries and variances. • CA or CPA Qualification is a MUST
• Experience Managing and leading a high performing team
• Experience influencing stakeholders through challenging situations
• Previous involvement in the implementation of a new accounting system or management and evolution of an existing system
• Ability to manage complex issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Ability to frequently interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members
• Strong system skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and enterprise resource planning software (ERP)
• Working knowledge of Oracle or a similar sized ERP system
• Advanced Excel skills

What You’ll Do

• Record‑2‑Report activities
• Managing a team ensuring accounting services deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparation and review of financial documents, reports and information including conducting any analyses’ and resolving any variances
• Collaborating with the Accounting team in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities
• Supporting the preparation of accounting records and financial reports as per Datacom standards
• Performing month‑end close activities. Generating and maintaining general ledgers and any adjustments
• Assisting with annual audit preparations
• Ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within the set timeframe and any issues addressed as they arise
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non‑compliance
