Job summary

AIA Philippines Group is seeking a senior tax lead to own the end-to-end tax function for the Philippine operations, including life insurance and real estate entities. You will ensure timely filings, robust controls, and regulatory compliance across BIR and LGUs, while coordinating with Group Tax in Hong Kong.

The role also drives tax planning, supports IFRS 17 implementation, and partners with Finance, Actuarial and IT to embed tax considerations into reporting and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end tax compliance lifecycle for all Covered Entities.
• Review and sign-off of all tax returns, computations, and schedules.
• Ensure alignment between tax reporting and financial reporting.
• Drive continuous improvements in compliance processes and controls.
• Analyse tax implications of IFRS 17 and coordinate with Finance, Actuarial and IT teams.
• Manage tax audits with BIR and LGUs, including remediation actions.
• Provide tax advisory support for new products, distribution channels and investments.
