Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy required.
• At least 10 years progressive tax experience in tax accounting, compliance and reporting with any of the top 10 life insurance companies in the Philippines having total gross premiums of at least Php 20B or total assets of at least Php 250B; with at least five (5) years in supervisory/ managerial level.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end tax compliance lifecycle across all covered entities; ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Analyse IFRS 17 tax implications and coordinate with Finance/Actuarial/IT teams.
• Manage Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and LGU audits; prepare responses and defend positions.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support for business initiatives and new products.
• Monitor industry tax issues and draft position papers; coordinate with regulators.
• Coordinate with Group Tax in Hong Kong and ensure Group Tax reporting requirements.
• Lead tax risk management and maintain robust controls; oversee tax documentation standards.
• Support business units with operational tax matters and project proposals.
