MedGrocer in Makati City is seeking a Senior Systems & AI Solutions Engineer to lead high-level architecture, resilience, and integration of AI technologies. You will design and scale core architectures delivering life-saving interventions for patients, while modernizing developer tools across the organization.

You will guide AI workflows, build production AI pipelines, and ensure robust SDLC practices with strong security and data privacy focus for healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of professional software engineering and systems architecture experience with production ownership.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI models, LLM APIs, and vector search in production environments.
• Deep proficiency in backend architecture, relational/non-relational databases, API design, and automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy production-ready applied AI systems, including RAG pipelines and automated document processing.
• Audit and refactor critical backend services to reduce latency and improve availability.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices and modern AI tooling to accelerate development.
• Oversee SDLC with automated CI/CD pipelines, testing suites, and code review standards.
• Govern cybersecurity and data privacy in healthcare information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy production-ready applied AI systems, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, automated document processing, and operational triage workflows.
• Audit and refactor critical backend services and legacy bottlenecks to reduce latency, eliminate single points of failure, and ensure high system availability.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering practices across the team, integrating modern AI tooling to accelerate development throughput and catch regressions early.
• Oversee software development lifecycles (SDLC) by establishing automated CI/CD pipelines, integration testing suites, and high standards for peer code reviews.
• Govern cybersecurity and data privacy standards to safeguard sensitive patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare information frameworks.
