Job summary

Emapta Global in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to own and strengthen the secure infrastructure behind enterprise software. You will focus on uptime, disaster recovery, and IT operations to support global clients from our Ortigas office.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT and 3–5 years in IT, with a focus on AI-enabled tools, security, and cost-saving initiatives. We offer competitive salary, night differential, HMO, and extensive learning through Emapta

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an Information Technology role.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly, validate outputs, and protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Introduce routine performance benchmarks and establish specific improvement targets.
• Achieve and maintain required security certifications.
• Develop and implement an IT cost-reduction plan.
• Conduct biannual disaster recovery drills and meet established objectives.
• Establish, refine, and meet specific system uptime targets.
• Operate and improve the infrastructure, access controls, and security measures that keep business systems reliable and secure.
• Document standards, system changes, and operating procedures to ensure consistent support.
• Monitor system signals, investigate issues, and drive root-cause resolution with clear follow-through.
• Use AI-assisted operations tools responsibly to accelerate troubleshooting and documentation while validating outputs and protecting sensitive information.
• Maintain clear documentation, handoffs, and ownership to ensure work progresses without ambiguity.
