Job summary

Lenovo PCCW Solutions is seeking a Network L2 Engineer to perform Day-2 operations and Day-1 project implementations for client networks. You will design LAN/WLAN solutions, conduct RF site surveys, and document topologies, capacity plans, and migration strategies.

Responsibilities include coordinating upgrades for routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances; liaising with vendors and stakeholders to minimize downtime; and maintaining asset inventories and IPAM across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CCNP certification is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in handling Network and Security Domain.
• Proven experience in managing Palo Alto, Check Point and Fortigate firewalls.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco or equivalent switches and routers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design LAN/WLAN solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Implement and tune Wi-Fi networks (802.11 standards) and optimize AP placement.
• Coordinate and execute upgrades for routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
• Lead security incident response with NOC and customer security contacts.
• Oversee IP Address Management (IPAM) and asset inventory across sites.
• Provide L2 technical leadership for complex network incidents and root cause analyses.
• Monitor network performance, trends, and proactive health checks to prevent downtime.
• Maintain customer-specific documentation and runbooks; mentor junior engineers.
