You will design, develop and maintain enterprise-level applications, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with analysts, PMs and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring security and performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise-level solutions.

Our client, a growing company in the manufacturing and FMCG industry, is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Developer that offers the opportunity to lead and architect complex software systems whilst contributingto the technological advancement of our organization. As a Senior Systems Developer, you willplay a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-level systems thatsupport our business operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation,improving system performance and ensuring the delivery of robust solutions that meet our

evolving business needs.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop enterprise-level systems and applications utilizing industry bestpractices and modern architectural patterns.
• Lead the technical design phase of system development projects, ensuring scalability,security and performance optimization.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code whilst adhering to establishedcoding standards and guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers and teammembers to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and stakeholders to understandrequirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technology selection and implementation strategies.
• Mentor and support junior developers in their technical growth and professionaldevelopment.
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection standardsand regulations.
• Document system designs, technical specifications and operational procedures forknowledge transfer and maintenance.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience with a proven trackrecord of delivering enterprise-level solutions.
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, C++or similar.
• Solid understanding of system design principles, software architecture patterns anddesign patterns.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL optimization anddatabase design.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and experience working incollaborative development environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform is highlydesirable
• Experience with API development, RESTful services and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologiessuch as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complextechnical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborateeffectively across teams.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience mentoring junior developers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, orequivalent professional experience.
