Job summary

Permhunt seeks a Senior Survey Programmer to lead end-to-end programming, testing, and support of online surveys across global projects. You will translate specifications into functional logic, implement complex skip patterns, and manage live deployments.

The role requires deep expertise in MaxDiff, Conjoint, volumetrics, and robust QA across desktop and mobile surveys, with collaboration across PM, analytics, and creative teams to ensure scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years hands-on survey programming in market research or related environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Forsta Decipher, Qualtrics, Confirmit or similar.
• Proficiency in XML, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience programming advanced methodologies such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, volumetrics, and custom algorithms.
• Strong understanding of survey logic, quota structures, and complex routing.
• Experience using Excel for quota management and data handling.
• Familiarity with data processing, tabulation, and weighting processes.
• Strong QA, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Program and script online surveys using platforms like Forsta Decipher and related tools.
• Manage the full survey programming lifecycle from setup to live support.
• Translate survey specs into functional logic with advanced skip patterns and randomization.
• Develop methodologies such as MaxDiff, Conjoint, volumetrics, and custom studies.
• Configure quota structures and manage data handling
• Integrate multimedia stimuli and external assets into surveys.
• Perform QA testing, logic validation, and cross-device testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues during development and live fieldwork.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
