About the role
The Senior Supervisor, Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for coordinating the development and establishment of NAC Energy's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. The role works closely with the Enterprise Risk Management and Insurance Head and business units to establish risk management processes, facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessments, develop risk registers and KRIs, monitor risk mitigation activities, and embed risk management into business decision making and organizational culture.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Company's ERM Framework, policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance processes. Standardize risk assessment, evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and reporting practices across business units. Coordinate the rollout and implementation of ERM initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate enterprise-wide risk assessments with business units and risk owners. Maintain the Enterprise Risk Register and risk profiles. Facilitate identification, assessment, prioritization, and evaluation of strategic, operational, financial, project, regulatory, and emerging risks. Support scenario analysis and stress testing of material risks.
- Coordinate with risk owners in developing and monitoring risk treatment and mitigation plans. Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), thresholds, and early-warning indicators. Track risk exposures, mitigation actions, and KRI breaches, and elevate significant or overdue matters to the Risk and Enterprise Management Head.
- Coordinate risk assessments for projects, investments, expansions, and significant business changes. Facilitate the integration of risk considerations into project and operational decision-making. Work with business functions to identify and address material risks and control gaps.
- Support compliance with the ERM Framework, applicable regulations, internal policies, and relevant industry standards. Coordinate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and other assurance functions on risk-related matters. Maintain appropriate risk documentation, escalation protocols, and governance requirements.
- Consolidate and analyze enterprise risk information and prepare management and Board-level risk reports and presentations. Support risk dashboards and analytics. Conduct risk awareness activities and promote consistent risk management practices, risk ownership, and accountability across the organization.
- Support the development, maintenance, testing, and continuous improvement of Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans. Coordinate exercises and simulations and monitor corrective actions arising from identified gaps.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Risk Management, Financial Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management are preferred (e.g. Risk Management Professional, BCM Practitioner, Project Management Professional, etc.)
- At least one (1) year of professional experience in the power industry or any industrial business with relevant experience in risk management
- Strong knowledge of Risk Management frameworks and standards such as ISO 31000, ISO 27000, COSO, FM Global, and other risk engineering standards.
- Proven experience in implementing risk frameworks, conducting risk assessments, adjusting controls, and rolling out enterprise risk management programs; ability to contribute to formal reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate risk controls, identify gaps, monitor mitigation actions, and develop appropriate risk indicators and escalation mechanisms.
- Ability to analyze and consolidate risk information, perform scenario and risk analysis, and contribute to formal management and Board-level risk reporting requirements.
