Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking an Aerospace Interior Engineer in the Philippines. The role involves ensuring interior structure designs meet EASA/FAA/CAA standards, performing stress analyses, and developing design options for components and systems.

The candidate should have experience with FEM software and familiarity with regulatory requirements. Hybrid work arrangement in PH-BTG-TANAUAN CITY area.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of classic hand calculations and basic stress analysis methods.
• Experience with FEM software: FEMAP, Patran, NASTRAN, Hypermesh or similar.
• Familiar with FAA and EASA certification regulations and requirements.
• Experience in Aircraft Interior Product Design and Configuration.
• Preferably 1 year in a design organization producing component-level design.
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assure interior structure monument design is certified to EASA/FAA/CAA regulation and produce stress reports.
• Conduct analysis and develop design options for structures, systems, and components.
• Design and analyze aircraft interior systems and components.
• Interpret engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Perform complex assignments requiring stress analysis and new techniques.
• Assess feasibility and soundness of tests, products or equipment.
