Job summary

Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

• Assuring the aircraft interior structure monument design is certified to EASA/FAA/CAA regulation, producing the necessary stress reports to support this and satisfies the customer and contractual specifications.
• Conducts analysis and follows procedures to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components.
• Designs and analyzes aircraft interior system and its components.
• Interprets principles, theories and concepts of an engineering field.
• Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products, processes and techniques requiring stress analysis.
• Assessments the feasibility and soundness of an engineering test, product or equipment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial and/or other relevant degree.
• Knowledge in Classic hand calculations & Basic Stress analysis methods.
• Experience with Finite Element Model(Model) using FEMAP, Patran, NASTRAN, Hypermesh or other FEM software.
• Knowledgeable in applicable FAA and EASA regulations and requirements for certification.
• Experience in Aircraft Interior Product Design & Configuration.
• Preferably with at least a year of involvement in a design organization producing component level design.
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
