Job summary

Collins Aerospace PH in Batangas is seeking an engineer focused on interior systems design and finite element analysis to advance aircraft components. The role involves solving complex design challenges, evaluating feasibility, and delivering robust engineering solutions.

You will work with PATRAN/NATRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS, and Abaqus, applying solid engineering fundamentals and strong reporting. A degree in engineering and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Aero/Mech) or related field.
• Experience in FEM and classical hand calculations.
• Experience with PATRAN/NATRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS or Abaqus.
• Preferably 1 year in a design organization producing component-level design.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

• Designs and analyses interior systems of an aircraft and its components.

• Performs complex assignments often requiring the development of new or improved products, processes, and techniques

• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of an engineering test, product, or equipment

• Interprets principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering field.

• Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting, observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering courses

• Experience in FEM and classic hand calculations

• Experience with PATRAN/NATRAN, FEMAP, ANSYS, Abaqus or any other finite element analysis software

• Preferably with at least a year of involvement in a design organization producing component level design

• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

• Should not be under a Performance Improvement Plan

• Should not have received any disciplinary action for one year
