Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in the Philippines, Batangas, offers a hybrid opportunity for engineers to certify interior structures and perform stress analyses for aircraft interiors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory specifications.

The ideal candidate holds an Aeronautical/Aerospace degree and has hands-on experience with FEM/FEA tools, plus excellent report writing and presentation skills to communicate technical results clearly.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• Knowledge in classic hand calculations and basic stress analysis.
• Experience with FEM tools such as FEMAP, Patran, NASTRAN, or HyperMesh.
• Familiar with FAA/EASA regulations for certification.
• Experience in Aircraft Interior Product Design & Configuration.
• Preferably 1 year in a design organization producing component-level design.
• Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assure interior structure monument design is certified to EASA/FAA/CAA regulation, producing the necessary stress reports to support this and satisfies the customer and contractual specifications.
• Conduct analyses and follows procedures to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components.
• Designs and analyses aircraft interior system and its components.
• Interprets principles, theories and concepts of an engineering field.
• Performs complex assignments often requiring development of new or improved products, processes and techniques requiring stress analysis.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of an engineering test, product or equipment.
