As Senior Static Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for executing complex day-to- day maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, and overhaul of static mechanical assets, including high-pressure valves, dampers, pressure vessels, and power piping in a supercritical environment. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform advanced static maintenance activities, including repair, troubleshooting, and overhaul of valves (Safety, Control, Manual), dampers, and actuators.
- Execute inspection, maintenance, and repair of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and associated boiler pressure parts and tubes.
- Perform analysis and repair on high-energy power piping, including hanger support adjustments (Hot/Cold settings), expansion joints, and high-pressure welding requirements.
- Conduct testing and commissioning (e.g., hydrostatic, pneumatic, seat leakage/lapping) for newly installed equipment and post- outage recommissioning.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Coal Fired Power Plant Operations - monitor, and apply knowledge of coal-fired power plant processes, systems, and interdependencies to support mechanical static maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Mechanical Static Systems Proficiency - apply advanced knowledge of valve types, metallurgy, pressure vessel codes (ASME), and piping standards to maintain and optimize plant static assets.
- Technical Drawing and Diagram Interpretation - accurately read, understand, and apply information from Assembly drawings, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Isometric drawings to support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is required. Professional Mechanical Engineering (PME) is an advantage.
- Specialized certifications (e.g., Valve Technician, CertifiedWelding Inspector, NDT Level II) are a distinct advantage.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- At least five (5) years of experience in Power Plant (preferably Supercritical technology) or related heavy industries with a focus on Static Equipment (Valves, Piping, Vessels).
- Leadership: With leadership experience (completed Supervisor training course) is an advantage
