Job summary

Infineon Technologies Philippines is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Product Engineering to lead New Product Introductions (NPI) and drive yield and quality improvements across design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing teams.

You will own product development from development to high-volume production, tackle complex technical challenges, and enable new business growth through derivatives and qualification programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in semiconductor, electronics, or related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide production support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure timely resolution of product and manufacturing issues to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with Design, Process, Test, Reliability, and Manufacturing to resolve product-related issues and improve yield and quality.
• Drive continuous process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce production costs, and increase yield.
• Support product derivatives bring-up and qualification activities for NSO and customer-specific requirements.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide production support engineering throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise and engineering guidance to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of product and manufacturing issues, enabling successful achievement of project milestones and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Process, Test, Reliability, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to resolve product-related issues and production challenges, with a focus on improving yield, process stability, and product quality.
• Drive and sustain continuous process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency, reduce production costs, and increase yield performance.
• Support product derivative bring-up from the existing product portfolio to enable New Sales Opportunities (NSO), customer‑specific requirements, and additional product qualification activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or related manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, demonstrating adaptability and sound decision‑making.
• Self‑driven professional with strong initiative, ownership, and prioritization skills, capable of driving projects independently and achieving business objectives.
