Job summary

Chainlink Labs is seeking a senior SRE/Platform Engineer to design and build scalable Kubernetes-based infrastructure primitives for DONs and the CRE control plane. You will scale deployments, craft autoscaling and failure-diagnosis strategies, and push automation across internal systems.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and cross-team collaboration, with remote work options and exposure to cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure. Strong Go and AWS experience are valued.

Qualifications

• 6–9+ years in SRE/Platform/Infrastructure Engineering.
• Proven experience scaling Kubernetes in high-throughput production environments.
• Deep knowledge of scheduler behavior, StatefulSets, autoscaling (HPA/VPA/KEDA).
• Resource management and performance tuning; multi-cluster/multi-region architectures.
• Experience diagnosing production failures at the cluster scale.
• Strong Terraform or Crossplane experience; GitOps with ArgoCD/Flux.
• CI/CD reliability and automation-first mindset; AWS prod experience.
• Go or similar systems language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and build infrastructure primitives for Chainlink DONs to scale across internal systems.
• Develop the CRE control plane (Kubernetes-based) for deterministic scaling.
• Implement scaling automation and operators adopted by Product teams.
• Improve operational efficiency, reliability, and security of protocol-level services.
• Collaborate with internal and external node operators to extend scalability.
