Job summary

Amtech is expanding its Platform Engineering group in India as products shift to a fully AWS-hosted, multi-tenant SaaS model. You will own the reliability of major production domains, design observability and automation, and act as incident commander for complex, cross-service incidents.

You will mentor earlier-career engineers, raise the bar for the India SRE pod, and collaborate with product and Cloud-track peers to ensure operability and migration readiness across workloads.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of hands-on SRE/DevOps or cloud engineering experience with ownership of production services at scale.
• Deep knowledge of AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda) in multi-account environments.
• Strong Terraform skills including reusable modules and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and reliability frameworks on OpenTelemetry-based stacks.
• Define SLIs/SLOs and drive engineering priorities from them.
• Engineer self-healing, autoscaling, and capacity management for production systems.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, ensuring permanent fixes.
