Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in the Philippines is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage sourcing operations for Optodev and EMPI, including supplier identification, negotiations, and contract management.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and country leadership to implement local, regional, and global sourcing strategies while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across multiple sites and effectively handle escalations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure sourcing processes meet operational requirements.
• Conducts supplier evaluations, negotiates contracts, and manages supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery at best cost, quality, and service.
• Defines, monitors, and analyzes sourcing metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive cost savings.
• Handles and resolves escalations related to sourcing operations in a timely and effective manner.
• Conducts market scans to identify and develop a robust supplier base for internal customers and category managers.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and local laws and regulations.
