Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in the Philippines is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage sourcing operations for Optodev and EMPI, including supplier identification, negotiations, and contract management.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and country leadership to implement local, regional, and global sourcing strategies while ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across multiple sites and effectively handle escalations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.

Your role

We are seeking a highly motivatedSenior Sourcing Specialist who will be responsible for managing sourcing operations for Optodev and EMPI, including supplier identification, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and country leadership to manage sourcing requirements, handle escalations, oversee RFQs, and support the implementation of local, regional, and global sourcing strategies.

Main responsibilities:

• Works collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure that sourcing processes meet operational requirements.
• Conducts supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible cost, quality, and service levels.
• Defines, monitors, and analyzes sourcing metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive cost savings.
• Handles and resolves escalations related to sourcing operations in a timely and effective manner.
• Conducts market scans to identify and develop a robust supplier base, and provide relevant supplier information to internal customers and category managers.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable local laws and regulations.

A Portrait of a Suitable Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, procurement best practices, and supply chain management.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across multiple sites and effectively handle and resolve escalations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent project management and negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate costs and contracts effectively.
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP ERP systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Deadline-oriented, with the ability to organize assignments, establish priorities, and execute plans effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and able to perform effectively under pressure in a networked environment.
• Ambitious, self-motivated, well-organized, and enthusiastic.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
