Job summary

Trio-Tech International Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking a Senior/Sourcing Specialist to drive technical sourcing of components and equipment for semiconductor manufacturing and testing, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and quality compliance.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production, manage RFQ/RFP processes, assess supplier risk, monitor lead times, and push cost-reduction initiatives to strengthen supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in semiconductor, electronics, or precision manufacturing
• Familiarity with semiconductor components, materials, or test/assembly equipment sourcing is a plus
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good communication skills for cross-functional and cross-border supplier coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities focusing on supplier selection, cost competitiveness, lead time optimization, and capacity planning to support business objectives
• Identify and qualify suppliers for semiconductor materials, components, and parts
• Conduct supplier evaluations and risk assessments (quality, capacity, compliance)
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes and maintain a competitive, resilient supplier base
• Monitor market trends and component lead times
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production on sourcing decisions
• Track supplier performance, drive corrective actions and ensure compliance requirement
• Support cost-reduction and alternate sourcing initiatives
• Other duties and reports as assigned by immediate superior
