Job summary

KY Green Builders seeks a Senior Solar Project Manager to lead utility-scale and commercial solar PV and battery storage projects from development through COD. You will coordinate with executive leadership, engineering, construction, and external stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to safety standards.

You will oversee planning, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, while managing risks and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Renewable Energy.
• Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) is an advantage.
• 8+ years of project management experience, with 5+ years in utility-scale or commercial solar PV.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution from pre-construction to commissioning.
• Develop and manage master schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Review electrical designs and grid interconnection requirements.
• Coordinate with utilities, regulators, clients, and subcontractors.
• Manage EPC contracts, risks, delays, and variation orders.
• Lead and mentor engineers and site personnel ensuring safety standards.
