Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Engineer to lead the technical execution of solar energy and EV charging projects, from site assessment and system design through installation, testing, commissioning, and client handover.

You will collaborate with Sales and Technical Support to ensure projects are safe, compliant with Philippine electrical codes, and delivered on time, while coordinating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams across Luzon.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in EPC, electrical, construction, or related engineering environments.
Experience in the solar energy industry is an advantage but not required.
Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
Experience with solar PV systems, electrical installations, or EV charging systems is highly preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for SLDs, electrical layouts, and shop drawings.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and applicable local regulations.
Excellent communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams in Filipino and English.
Travel extensively throughout Luzon.
Able to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to determine site conditions and requirements.
Develop solar system designs and work methodologies based on energy needs and site conditions.
Prepare SLDs, electrical shop drawings, layouts using AutoCAD.
Identify potential issues prior to project execution.
Supervise installation of solar PV systems, including EV charging stations.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth execution.
Monitor progress to meet designs, specs, timelines, and quality standards.
Ensure proper onsite implementation of electrical, structural, and installation requirements.
Monitor materials and equipment usage.
Prepare commissioning reports and documentation.
Conduct client handover training on operation and safety.
Ensure installations comply with Philippine electrical codes and safety standards.
Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, and Project Management for successful delivery.
