Qualifications

• 8+ years of software QA experience with ETL focus.
• Proficient in SQL scripting for data validation.
• Experience with data validation and ETL pipelines.
• Strong SDLC and testing methodologies knowledge.
• Ability to provide estimates and status updates on automation scripts.
• Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Willingness to report 5x a week in Makati/Ortigas on a dayshift.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Postman, Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation for tests to be developed.
• Create test scenarios and test cases and brainstorm with Team and BA.
• Execute all the test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), and participate in UAT.
• Document scripts with comments to provide insight to test logic.

• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams.

About the role

Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software QA Tester to join our quality assurance team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead quality assurance efforts focused on Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) systems. As a Senior Software QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, system reliability, and performance across our ETL pipelines. Your expertise will be fundamental in maintaining our commitment to delivering robust and efficient data solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation for the tests to be developed




• Create test scenarios and test cases and brainstorm with Team and BA




• Execute all the test cases (Functional, SIT and Regression), also participate in UAT




• Document scripts with comments to provide insight to test logic




• Work with the Development team to capture and Unit Test results




• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams

What we're looking for

• Amenable to report 5x a week in Makati/Ortigas on a dayshift schedule




• Minimum 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance with substantial focus on ETL testing and data validation




• Knowledgeable in SQL (can create and understand) scripts




• With proven experience in data and ETL pipeline testing




• Good understanding of SDLC process and Testing Methodologies




• Should have good experience in providing estimates and status updates on automation scripts




• Excellent problem-solving skills




• Willingness to innovate and implement new ideas




• Should have good presentation skills




• Should be able to work independently.




• Knowledgeable in Postman + Azure Data Factory / Azure Databricks (Nice to have).
