Job summary

LawAdvisor Ventures in Makati is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and product managers while delivering elegant, production-ready code.

You will design, implement, and optimize features across the full development lifecycle, stay current with new languages, and help future-proof our infrastructure as we scale globally. The role is hybrid, with an Ayala office and shifting hours. Experience with distributed systems, AWS, and Docker is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software development across the full lifecycle.
• Mastery of HTML, CSS and JavaScript with production readiness.
• Strong written and verbal communication within cross-functional teams.
• Experience with relational databases and data access patterns (ORM/DAO/SQL).
• Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to mentor teammates and learn new languages quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers and product managers.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Uphold quality, design, performance and security standards.
• Design and write well-structured, production-ready code.
• Participate in solution design meetings, hiring interviews, and code reviews.
