Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking an experienced software engineering lead in Manila to design, develop, and maintain scalable SAAS solutions. You will own major features, guide architecture, and collaborate across product, QA, and DevOps teams.

You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, contribute to technical strategy, and advocate clean code, automated testing, and performance optimization in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production‑grade applications.
• Expertise in C# and .NET (Framework or Core), with OO programming and architecture knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and React.
• Experience building distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Solid SDLC understanding and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proficiency in unit/integration testing and Build‑in‑Quality practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable SAAS software solutions.
• Own significant features from concept to delivery and support.
• Mentor and support mid-level and junior engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps to meet business needs.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and technology selection.
• Uphold best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance tuning.
• Investigate complex issues and guide root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.
