Job summary

LawAdvisor Ventures Ltd. is seeking a senior software professional to join our hybrid team in the Philippines. You will contribute to all stages of the software lifecycle, write clean, production-ready code, and help shape the next generation of our product.

You will mentor engineers, participate in interviews and code reviews, and help future-proof our infrastructure as we scale globally, leveraging modern stacks such as Elixir, Phoenix, Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Mastery in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL-based access (ORM/DAO).
• Experience with Git and collaborative tooling.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members; proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to learn new languages quickly and adapt to startup dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers and QA to deliver features.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Uphold quality, design, performance and security standards.
• Write production-ready, well-structured code.
• Lead in solution design meetings, interviews and code reviews.
• Propose new approaches to scale LawAdvisor’s infrastructure globally.
