Job summary

ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable SAAS solutions. You will own major features from concept to delivery and provide mentorship.

You will collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps, apply CI/CD, test, and contribute to architecture and technology choice while continuously adopting new tools to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Expertise in C# and .NET (Framework or Core).
• Strong knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• Experience building distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and Build-in-Quality practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable SAAS software solutions.
• Take ownership of significant features from concept through delivery and support.
• Mentor and support mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps to deliver features meeting business needs and quality expectations.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection.
• Ensure adherence to best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimisation.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and provide root-cause guidance.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.
