Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable SAAS solutions in a hybrid work setup in Metro Manila. You will own major features, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to ensure quality and performance.

The role requires 5+ years of professional software development, deep C#/.NET expertise, distributed systems experience, and strong SDLC/Agile understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET (Framework or Core).
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React).
• Experience with distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Solid SDLC understanding and Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
• Unit and integration testing proficiency; Build-in-Quality practices.
• CI/CD tooling, Git, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, SAAS software solutions.
• Own significant features from concept through delivery and support.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers via code reviews and pair programming.
• Collaborate with product management, QA, and DevOps to meet business needs.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and technology selection.
• Uphold software engineering best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Investigate complex issues and perform root-ccause analysis.
• Adopt emerging technologies to improve performance, security, and developer productivity.
