ERoad Inc. in Manila is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java, AI-Native) to strengthen its backend engineering with AI-driven capabilities.

You will own complex production services, design and operate microservices and RESTful APIs, and guide AI agents with rigorous verification before deployment. We value a strong backend track record, cloud-native experience (AWS or equivalent), and mentoring across a growing team.

Qualifications

• Strong Java experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native architecture or equivalent cloud-native stacks.
• Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Ability to reason across data models using MongoDB/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Experience building test automation across unit, component, integration and end-to-end levels.
• Proficient in CI/CD, trunk-based development and Docker deployments.
• Production monitoring, alerting and observability experience.
• Mentoring others and lifting team quality through code reviews.
